The Annapolis Pickleball Club would like to take this opportunity to announce that the 2026 APC/Bay Capital Mortgage Open, originally scheduled for September 12–13, 2026, has been rescheduled to May 2027.

Due to low registration caused by competing tournaments on the same weekend APC has decided to reschedule the event. Moving the tournament to the spring will allow us to create a better experience for our members, sponsors, and players. This change enables us to introduce new competition formats, expanded playing opportunities, and enhanced social activities, establishing the APC Open as a premier pickleball event in the Mid-Atlantic.

Our plans include building strategic alliances with neighboring clubs for a club-versus-club challenge integrated into the traditional tournament format.  This will foster friendly competition, increase participation, and avoid conflicts with other local tournaments. We will also feature a vibrant atmosphere with vendors, hospitality, music, and activities both on and off the courts.

While we know many of you were looking forward to competing this fall, we’re making this change for one important reason: to create an even better tournament experience for our players.

Already Registered? We've Got You Covered!

If you already registered for the 2026 APC/Bay Capital Mortgage Open, don't worry. Our APC tournament staff will be refunding your registration fees via PayPal. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through this transition and will make every effort to ensure the process is as smooth and convenient as possible.
