Please join us for the next 3.5+ Skills & Drills Clinic for players with a USAPA skill rating of 3.5 or above. These will be fun, fast-paced drill sessions. Important note: this session is NOT appropriate for novices who do not have any pickleball experience!
Registration will open one week prior to the clinic.
Specifically, from USAPA, are traits of a 3.5 player:
FOREHAND: Improved stroke development with moderate level of shot control. BACKHAND: Learning stroke form and starting to develop consistency but will avoid if possible. SERVE / RETURN: Consistently gets serve/return in play with limited ability to control depth. DINK: Increased consistency, with limited ability to control height/depth. Sustains medium length rallies. Starting to understand variations of pace. 3RD SHOT: Developing the drop shot in a way to get to the net. VOLLEY: Is able to volley medium paced shots thereby developing control. STRATEGY: Moves quickly towards the non-volley zone (NVZ) when opportunity is there. Acknowledges difference between hard game and soft game and is starting to vary own game during recreation and tournament play. Can sustain short rallies. Is learning proper court positioning. Basic knowledge of stacking and understands situations where it can be effective.

Players of other skill levels should register for the 3.0 Skills & Drills session, C-level clinics, or the Introduction to Pickleball session, as appropriate. Please register for the session that is appropriate for your skill level, as the material covered during each session and pacing is appropriate only for that skill level.
If you are unsure of your numeric skill level, please refer to the USAPA ratings guidelines in order to assess your skill level.
Please be prompt, as we are on a much tighter schedule than last winter, and court time is limited. Stretch and warm-up prior to the clinic start time and be ready to play.
