Ball Machine Practice - Session B (Members only)

APC's pickleball machine (Lobster Pickle II) will be made available for practice sessions under the supervision of an APC volunteer.  The volunteer will be a facilitator and time keeper to ensure the machine is set properly for you and to address any logistics.

There will be a $5 charge for this event. Fees are not refundable. If APC cancels a session due to weather or other reason, a credit will issued for another session.

Each session will consist of two 60-minute slots. Four (4) APC members can sign up for the first time slot while three (3) members can sign up for the second slot, as the volunteer will be one of the players in that slot.

Players will take turns practicing with the machine and retrieving balls during their 60 minute slot. Remember, the volunteer will not be a coach nor a ball-boy/girl. 

If you have signed up for the first time slot, please arrive 15 minutes early to help the volunteer set up the net and the machine. If you have signed up for the second time slot, please plan to stay an additional 15 minutes to help the volunteer store the net and the machine.

Due to high demand for these sessions, you can only sign up for one slot per day, and only one session per month. Only persons who have signed up in advance may play at these practice sessions.

If you sign up, please plan to show up. If an emergency arises and you can't show up, please cancel your registration on the website so that someone from the waitlist can take your place. Your registration confirmation will also contain a link to cancel. Please do not cancel by email to the organizers. We have had recurring issues with people registering and then not showing up. That is unfair to the many folks who end up on the waitlist.
