Ball Machine Practice (Members only)

APC's pickleball machine (Lobster Pickle II) will be made available for practice sessions under the supervision of an APC volunteer.  The volunteer will be a facilitator and time keeper to ensure the machine is set properly for you and to address any logistics. The volunteer will also be using the machine along with the rest of the group.

Each session will consist of two hours. Six (6) APC members can sign up, plus one supervisor, who will also be using the machine.

Players will take turns practicing with the machine and retrieving balls during session. Players should feel free to come and go any time during the 2-hour session. Remember, the volunteer will not be a coach nor a ball-boy/girl. 

Please consider showing up a bit before the session start time to help get things set up, and stay afterwards to help stow the gear.

Due to high demand for these sessions, you should only sign up for one session per month. Only members who have signed up in advance may play at these practice sessions.

If you sign up, please plan to show up. If an emergency arises and you can't show up, please cancel your registration on the website so that someone from the waitlist can take your place. Your registration confirmation will also contain a link to cancel. We have had recurring issues with people registering and then not showing up. That is unfair to the many folks who end up on the waitlist.
