Getting to 3.5: Dealing with Bangers

You know who they are. They hit seemingly every ball with intense pace. They accelerate dink rallies at the first opportunity. They attack with reckless abandon. They are… bangers. Bangers can rattle the nerves of any pickleball player, regardless of age or skill level. There are, however, proven tactics you can use to rattle them back. During this clinic players will participate in drills to learn some of these tactics, to include how to reset shots to regain momentum, how to slow down the pace of the rally, and how to keep bangers pinned back where they are most vulnerable - on the baseline. Based on their progress as a group, students will play situational games designed to put their new skills to use.

Clinic cancellation policy: In the event that we have to cancel a clinic due to weather or player health and safety concerns, payments will be credited to the member’s APC account to use for a future event.
