Get ready for one of the Mid-Atlantic’s most anticipated pickleball events! The Annapolis Pickleball Club is proud to host the 6th Annual APC/Bay Capital Mortgage Open, returning to the award-winning courts at Truxtun Park in beautiful Annapolis, Maryland.
This exciting two-day tournament will bring together more than 300 players from across the region for a weekend of spirited competition, great sportsmanship, and plenty of fun both on and off the courts. Whether you’re competing for medals, testing your skills against new opponents, or simply enjoying the pickleball community, this is a tournament you won’t want to miss.

Skill Levels
- DUPR 3.0
- DUPR 3.5
- DUPR 4.0+
Age Divisions
Teams must compete at the skill level of the higher-rated player and in the age division of the youngest player.
To ensure the best competitive experience, tournament management may combine, split, or modify brackets based on registration levels. If brackets are combined, medals will still be awarded according to the original divisions.

Saturday, September 12
Men’s & Women’s Doubles
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Sunday, September 13
Mixed Doubles
9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Start times for individual brackets will be posted and emailed the week of the tournament.
*Schedule subject to adjustment based on registration levels.
Round Robin Format
Every team will compete against all other teams in their bracket, maximizing court time and competition.
Larger divisions may be separated into randomly seeded pools.
Standings Determined By:
1. Total Wins
2. Head-to-Head Results
3. Point Differential
Top finishers may advance to playoff rounds depending on bracket size.
Tournament Rules
- Tournament ratings will be based on DUPR and tournament management review when necessary.
- USAP rules will be followed throughout the event.
- All paddles must appear on the approved USAP or UPA-A paddle lists.
- Players will enter scores directly through Pickleball Den using their mobile devices.
- A volunteer rules official will be available, but players are encouraged to resolve on-court questions in the spirit of sportsmanship and fair play.
Partner Registration
- Each player must register individually.
- Players may register with a partner or select “Need Partner.”
- Both partners must complete registration within seven days of one another to avoid being wait-listed.
Tournament Day Information
Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled start time.
Upon arrival, players will receive tournament check-in instructions and a unique access code.
Tournament formats, schedules, and brackets may be modified due to registration levels, court availability, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances. Any changes will be communicated promptly via email.
