Should APC members be using APC nets in the Truxtun lockbox for separate small group play?

Actually, all private games are to use private nets.

Thanks for clarifying, Ben.   I think the biggest problem occurs because it's hard to know which games are private and which are open. There seems to be more and more private games at the Truxton courts as the club grows. Is there a way to flag the private games to void confusion and hurt feelings?

Unless it becomes a hot button topic, in which case the board may need to review and come to an official determination, imo APC members can use nets in the Truxtun Park lock box as long as there is: 1. open and active rec play available on the upper Truxtun Park courts; 2. all four pickleball lined courts on the upper Truxtun Park courts have nets set up and established.

There is a balance of being inclusive and wanting to develop one's skill level, recognizing that: 1. some APC members may want to have small group fun, friendship, camaraderie; 2. some APC members want to have small group play at their skill level; 3. some APC members may want to have a greater challenge by playing against players with higher skill levels.

That said: 1. APC members wishing to break off in small groups are encouraged to use your own nets and balls to preclude and perception of exclusivity, inappropriate usage of APC supplies and eliminate any hard feelings; 2. APC members should make every effort to appreciate and respect their fellow members their desire to want to develop their skill set at their particular skill level as it can be harder at times or in extended periods to do so when playing with folks at lower skill levels.
