Outdoor Play
Bestgate Park
Reserved: OPEN PLAY, ALL LEVELS – 4 PB Courts
8 AM - Noon Open Play daily (Monday - Sunday)
5 PM - 7 PM Open Play (Monday - Saturday)
*Club nets and balls in storage bin
*Permit is for 4 PB courts on 2 tennis courts
PAL (Peninsula) Park
Reserved OPEN PLAY, ALL LEVELS – 2 PB Courts
8 - Noon Open Play daily (Monday - Sunday)
5 - 7 PM Open Play daily (Monday - Saturday) **Pending approval**
5:30 -7:30 PM Open Play (Sundays) **Pending approval**
*Club nets and balls in storage bin
*Permit is for 2 PB courts on 1 tennis court
Exceptions:
INTRO TO PICKLEBALL CLASS (w/ Tom Shupe) on 1 of the 2 courts.
6:30 – 8:00pm Thursdays followed by beginner open play until dark.
Pre-registration online required for class.

Severn Danza Park
Reserved: OPEN PLAY 4.0+ players 2 PB Courts
8 AM-12 Noon (Saturdays & Sundays)
5 - 7 PM (Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
There are 4 PB courts on 2 tennis courts but APC only has permits for
2 PB courts
*No club nets or balls available at this site – BYO
All of the times listed above are for APC programming only. During these hours, no private games/private nets, non-member play (unless a guest of a member) or other sports unless we are not fully utilizing the courts.
We will have a copy of the county permits posted at PAL and Bestgate; refer to the permit if you are questioned. We also recommend downloading a copy of the permit onto your mobile device to be able to show if needed.

We were also given reserved time at some other county facilities which will be available for private foursomes to use – no open play requirements or programming at these locations:

Waterbury Park, Crownsville – Private Games Welcome
8AM - Noon (Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday)
5-7 PM (Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday)
*1 PB Court using tennis net with PB lines painted
Lake Waterford, Pasadena – Private Games Welcome
8 - 12 Noon (Friday, Saturday & Sunday)
5 - 7 PM (Monday, Friday, Saturday, & Sunday)
*1 dedicated PB court with permanent net
*1 blended tennis/PB court with tennis net.
All of the county courts are open to the public, and any times that are outside of our “reserved” times are available first come, first served (unless another group has that time reserved.) People playing private games are able to use the courts in non-reserved times.
Indoor Play
Pip Moyer Recreation Center
ALL LEVELS - 3 PB courts - PLAY ON YOUR OWN
M-F 5pm-close (basketball court 3)
Sat-Sun 8am-12:00 (basketball court 3)
Per mandate of the rec center, SINGLES PLAY ONLY is allowed at this point in time.
Although we have access to courts at this venue, there is no organized "open play". The courts are available but not reserved for PB. We are not encouraging large groups and not using a sign-up board. It is just for those who, on their own, want to come with their own group to play. The courts may be used for other purposes, so please check with the rec center front desk before setting up a net.
