Hi Laurie,
This is the first time I've ever heard anything positive about no-shows and appreciate the "gratitude" and the frustration.
We anticipate posting the April series of classes sometime the week of March 20, depending on when our permits come through.
On a positive note, we will hold more weekend and evening classes now that we are moving back outside to the courts at Truxtun. It's been a rough slog for our working (or in school) members this winter, when we had to move our classes indoors and compete for court time with so many other sports. Thank you for your patience!
I'll look forward to meeting you and your daughter on the court soon.

Hi gang - I did manage to get into a class - due to no shows … but have been trying to get my daughter into a class … I want to play with her but there aren’t any more on the weekends . Can you say when next weekend will be and maybe some info about when classes are posted?
im a member and have the basic under my belt but all the other classes are waitlisted as well
I’m really excited to play with my daughter and others but am frustrated by inability to get in a class …
maybe charge more to discourage no shows ?!
Hi Joanie, and welcome to the Annapolis Pickleball Club!
APC has a large and very active Beginners Group. Take a look at the Beginners Play page of our website, which can be found under the Let's Play tab on the Home page. There you'll find a description of the classes that we (usually) offer for beginners, as well as a link to the Master List for the Beginners Group.
As far as classes are concerned, we cut back on classes during the deepest parts of winter. We are just starting to put together a class schedule for Feb, or March.
But members of the Beginners Group play seven days a week at various courts around Annapolis and Anne Arundel County. I invite you to put your name on the Master List for the group (see the Beginners Play page mentioned above) and I'll be happy to meet you and help get you started playing.
Warmly,
Cindy May
Hi,
I'm a new member of APC. I have never played pickleball but would love to learn. How should I go about signing up for classes.
Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

Hi Maureen,
Welcome to the Annapolis Pickleball Club!
I noticed that you've signed up on the APC Beginners TeamReach Group, and that's an excellent way to start to meet people. Members of the group range from brand new, to 3.0-3.5, and are all welcoming and fun. We play mostly at PAL Park, but also at Bestgate in the evenings, and sometimes at Truxtun.
I'm out of town at the moment but will be home on Monday, 8/22 and would love to get together with you to introduce you to some of the other APC members. I'll also help fill you in on other TeamReach groups and be happy to answer any questions I can, or steer you towards others if I can't.
Best,
Hi I am a new member to APC. I have been playing for maybe 2 years, I don't have a rating but am looking to start that process as well as just have fun playing. I'm retired so a very flexible schedule. I have tried reading through the various info on the website to be informed but am welcoming advice on where to start. All suggestions are welcome. Maureen
