I got it worked out and wrapped over the existing grip. It still staying on after a few days play so i got it right enough. Thank you. 

I think it's time to replace the grip tape on my paddle after i had slip on me a few times during a match.  I've opted for tacky. Is it as simple as it sounds, just unwind the old one and wrap the new in its place?
